Mission Statement

As an artistic and cultural resource, The INTERNATIONAL PEACE CHOIR, INC. joyfully celebrates the many cultural traditions of our world community by building bridges of understanding and tolerance through music, song and dance. The International Peace Choir strives to be an active member of the arts community through public and private performances. By nurturing the development of children and youth who, as adults, will perpetuate an appreciation for the arts in their own communities, we tailor each individual performance to our target audience.

The children, our Peace Ambassadors, are between the ages of six and eighteen and proudly represent their diverse heritages and cultural backgrounds. The costumes they wear are carefully researched for authenticity and designed as genuine replicas of the clothing worn on the most festive occasions. This colorful ritual allows our audiences to enjoy a beautiful showcase of traditional costumes from many nearby and distant lands.
Every child has true passion and a strong desire to contribute to the vision and success of our mission. Our Choir's history is rich and meaningful. As we continue to grow and make plans for the future, we have faith that, through our beautiful songs of love and peace, our goal will one day be realized.

There is no trust more sacred than the one the world holds with children. There is no duty more important than ensuring that rights are respected, that their welfare is protected, that their lives are free from fear and want and that they grow up in peace.

As a non-profit* organization, the INTERNATIONAL PEACE CHOIR, INC. embraces a vision of worldwide peace. Since its inception in 1987, The International Peace Choir, Inc. has continued to focus its efforts on promoting peace, love and brotherhood through its “Peace Ambassadors” and their performances worldwide. Our theme song, “Let There Be Peace On Earth” is a beautiful reminder that it really does begin with each and every one of us!
